Pikinini Readers

One of the nine beautifully illustrated picture book stories in the Pikinini Readers series for young PNG students.  The books have been written by Diana Donigi and Jenny Cairns, and are designed to encourage a love of reading in lower primary children.

Christmas is an exciting and special time of year all over the world. Based on a traditional carol, PNG Christmas features cuscus, kundu drums, lakatoi canoes and other animals and objects with a distinctly PNG flavour. Words and images combine in a child's colourful dream of Christmas.
