Pikinini Readers

One of the nine beautifully illustrated picture book stories in the Pikinini Readers series for young PNG students.  The books have been written by Diana Donigi and Jenny Cairns, and are designed to encourage a love of reading in lower primary children.

When the animals in the jungle decide to hold a contest to find the best-looking animal, Cuscus and Dog are very excited. Together, the good friends plan their costumes. But Dog knows that Cuscus, with his  lovely long ears, is much better looking than he is. Will they still be friends by the day of the contest?
