Pikinini Readers

Tali is a girl who loves stories. She has a beautiful smile and is always laughing. She lives with her family in their village where she goes to school and plays with her friends. But there is something different about Tali: she uses sign language to speak.

One of the nine beautifully illustrated picture book stories in the Pikinini Readers series for young PNG students.  The books have been written by Diana Donigi and Jenny Cairns, and are designed to encourage a love of reading in lower primary children.
