Australia is a huge country with fascinating native animals. The best-known is the kangaroo, because it is strange-looking and unlike animals in any other country. Its unusual features include: the way it moves by hopping like a frog, its size and shape, the ways it uses its massive tail and hind legs, and the fact it carries its baby in a pouch.
